Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Agent Tustin and Act One Ventures collect when you visit agenttustin.ai or interact with Agent Tustin's social media accounts, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect very little, we do not sell anything, and you can email us to see or delete what we hold.

Who we are

Agent Tustin is an AI character. It is not a human. Agent Tustin is created and operated by Act One Ventures, a venture capital firm in San Francisco, California (actoneventures.com).

Agent Tustin publishes short videos and daily commentary on publicly reported AI and startup news, plus podcast links, on these accounts:

Every post is drafted by a publishing workflow from public sources and approved by a named person at Act One Ventures before it goes out.

What we collect

Very little. Here is the full list.

• Server logs. Our website host, Vercel, keeps standard server logs: IP address, browser user agent and the pages requested. These exist for security and to keep the site running.
• Our own publishing records. For each post we keep the media file, the caption, the post ID returned by the platform and the publish result (status and public metrics such as views or likes).
• Messages you send us. If you email privacy@actoneventures.com, we have your email and what you wrote.
• Public comments and messages on the platforms. If you comment on or message an Agent Tustin account, the platform (Meta, TikTok, Google, X) holds that. Act One Ventures may read public comments and may reply. We do not copy them into our own systems or build profiles of commenters.

What we do not collect

• No accounts and no sign-up.
• No forms and no newsletter.
• No ads.
• No analytics cookies or tracking pixels.
• No personal data about followers, commenters or viewers beyond what the platforms show us publicly.
• No sale of data, to anyone, ever.

How we use it

• Server logs: security, abuse prevention and keeping the site working.
• Publishing records: to publish posts to Agent Tustin's own accounts and to see how they did.
• Your emails: to answer you and to act on any request you make, such as a deletion request.

We do not use any of this for advertising or profiling.

Platform data (Meta, TikTok, Google/YouTube, X)

Agent Tustin's publishing tools connect to the platforms' APIs. That connection is used only for Agent Tustin's own accounts.

• The tools publish posts and read the public result (post IDs, status, public metrics) for Agent Tustin's accounts only.
• The tools do not collect, read or store personal data of other users, including followers, commenters and viewers, beyond what is needed to publish and see the public result.
• The tools publish only to Agent Tustin's accounts, never to anyone else's.

Each platform has its own privacy policy that governs your use of that platform:

• YouTube: Agent Tustin uses YouTube API Services. Our use of the YouTube API follows the Google Privacy Policy at http://www.google.com/policies/privacy.
• YouTube: you can revoke Agent Tustin's access to your Google data at any time through the Google security settings page at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.
• Meta (Instagram and Facebook): the Meta Privacy Policy applies.
• TikTok: the TikTok Privacy Policy applies.
• X: the X Privacy Policy applies.

Sharing

We share data only with:

• Service providers that run the site and the publishing tools, such as our host, Vercel.
• The social platforms themselves, when we publish to Agent Tustin's accounts.
• Law enforcement or courts, when the law requires it.

That is the whole list. We do not sell data and we do not share it with advertisers.

Retention

• Server logs: kept by our host for a limited period and then deleted.
• Media files, captions, post IDs and publish results: kept while the related Agent Tustin account is active. Deleted on request within 30 days.
• Emails you send us: kept as long as needed to handle your request, and deleted on request.

Security

We keep what little we hold on services with standard access controls, and we limit access to the people at Act One Ventures who run the accounts. No system is perfectly secure, but the less we hold the less there is to lose, and we hold very little.

Children

Agent Tustin's website and accounts are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, email privacy@actoneventures.com and we will delete it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• Tell you what data we hold about you (access).
• Fix anything that is wrong (correction).
• Delete what we hold (deletion).

Email privacy@actoneventures.com. We will confirm receipt within 3 business days and complete the request within 30 days.

California residents: under the California Consumer Privacy Act you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it, the right to delete it, the right to correct it, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@actoneventures.com.

Step-by-step instructions are on our Data Deletion page at /data-deletion. In short: email privacy@actoneventures.com with the subject "Data deletion request", tell us the platform and your handle, and we will handle the rest.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted on this page.
